Position: Rigger - 1

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 7 to 15yrs

WORK EXPERIENCE:

 Must be Certified Full Rigger for 7 years. 

 Must have at least 3 years abroad experience as Rigger 1. 

 Certified by Saudi Aramco.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Knowledge of selection and configuration of equipment required to move loads accordingly to weight and size.

 Ability to perform daily site surveys, tasks analysis, critical lift calculations, and operator level maintenance on assigned crane rigging components, and when required, splices and repair slings, wire rope and tackles.

 Knowledge in international hand signal.

 Analytical skills to perform lift calculations.

 Ability to work at heights.

 Ability to lift seventy-five (75) pounds, bend, stoop, and work around equipment, materials, supplies and other items to be handled.

 Direct Crane Riggers and Operator in the areas, but not limited to performing inspections. Operator-level maintenance, selection and configuration of cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, shackles and sheaves according to weight and size of the load of the moved.

 Ensure that the members and materials are hoisted and maneuvered in a safe and proficient manner by performing site surveys, task analysis, critical lift calculations and when required, splices, repairs, or replaces slings, wire ropes, and tackle.

 Ensure that operator level maintenance on the assigned crane and rigging components are performed.

 Preparing and Review Lift Plan.

 Perform other duties as maybe requires.

 Compiling and maintaining a Rigging Loft register and make sure that equipment is in good condition.

 Ensures that the level of supervision on site is sufficient to meet project specifications requirements.

 Acting as handling and lifting authority on validation of contractor�s key deliverables and prescribed audits as necessary Liaising with Sites Lifting Specialist on a day to day basis for all lifting operations.

 Reports any issue to construction work leader and maintain regular and efficient information to them.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Coordinate QA/QC meetings, Site Inspection and trouble shooting in the various phases of construction work for Road, Apartment Building, Culverts, Underpass, Major Bridge structures etc...  Carrying Site Field Inspection with client and company and controlling for site works.  Briefing on Safe work practices and identifying hazards associated with job activities by analyzing by Job Analysis Form to all workers, to ensure HSE.  Coordinate and well Relation with consultants for day to day Site Progress and Lab activities.  Study and following of Method statement and Inspection Test Plan Matrix.  Monitoring and Measuring for Lab Equipment and Plant.  Collecting the samples for Soil, Aggregate, Concrete, Sub-Grade, Aggregate Base Course, Asphalt, Steel and Extra material testing in Internal lab or Third party lab and perform all required frequency tests as per owner specification and Standards.  Make a Concrete mix designs at project sites.   Source approval for various materials required for the project.
 
 Incoming material testing and approval from client.  Source approval for various materials required for the project.  Incoming material testing and approval from client.  Quality control of Concrete production.  Soil testing at lab and field compaction testing.  Field inspections and pour card clearance.  Preparation of inspection & test plans, procedures and field quality assurance plan for various activities.  Making all kinds of progress reports using MS-word & Excel for the work done & the remaining to be done.  Monitoring the plants regularly for quality Products.  Checking of incoming material in Quality Control Verified and Received.  Concrete batching plant material in charge as well as concrete.  Put up daily RFI and maintain daily RFI Matrix report and submit to the superiors.  Preparation of QA/QC documents in Method Statement Procedures.  Project documentation and final submission of monthly Progress Report.  Auditing on final dossiers by clients and company.  Documents submit to senior persons use with company mail system.  To lead the team of QC Inspectors for monitoring the on‐going daily construction activities.  Reviewing the construction method statements and making comments per project specifications, procedures & ITPs.  Regular site visits for foreseeing the potential deficiencies based on his physical experience to share with construction crew and guidance to QC Inspectors.  Coordination with Civil testing agencies / batching plants for in tine delivery of concretes and subsequent inspection & testing requirements. Ensuring the availability of QC Inspector during any operations.   Imitating internal Log Book Entries/NCR’s to construction crew for effective Implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, written procedures project specifications                                  IFC drawings etc.  Coordination with Clients inspectors for getting the feedback for open log book entries and preparations of corrective actions to close those violations.   Emphasizing on the control of documents and records by advising the document controllers, QC Inspectors.  Conducting routine internal meetings with QC inspectors for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid non‐conformities.

 Develop new and revised training program ideas, documents and recommendations.

 Design, write, and revise materials including leaders' guides, development guides, workbooks and handouts.

 Coordinate the translation of training materials using outside vendors when necessary.

 Direct stand up instruction (one-on-one, or group sessions) of menu and ingredient information, systems/tools, service standards and procedures. (E.g. Hospitality, Server Training, Lead Training and Orientation).

 Support General Managers with Manager, Chef and Lead Trainer goal setting and assist in creating a game plan for goal attainment.

 Evaluate, monitor and supervise staff performance levels and provide coaching and recommendations to Chefs and Managers regarding staff performance reviews and evaluations.

 Provide input on the retention and succession planning of Lead Trainers and staff.

 Complete training evaluations for each restaurant, present results to executives to ensure genuine hospitality, quality, recruiting, operational and training standards are met by new restaurant and operations teams.

 Responsible for pre-opening; including people, operations planning, materials, systems, tools and succession planning; insuring that all new restaurants open ontime and within budget.

 Manage the interviewing, selection and completion of New Restaurant Opening Lead team members.

 Monitor and report (weekly and monthly) pre-opening and cost center financials through final reconciliation.

 Assist with facility mapping, labeling and other components of the new restaurant layout.

 Provide writing, formatting, and proofreading support for the department and cross functionally.

 Provide graphic design/illustration/video shooting support to increase effectiveness of materials.
